"The Man of Steal," the late Rickey Henderson, holds the all-time record for steals in MLB with 1,406, 50% more than runner-up Lou Brock. Henderson also owns MLB records for runs scored and walks and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2009, his first year of eligibility. Henderson died just before Christmas in 2024.
