These lovely Vintage Cinnabar snuff bottle set are engaging, with detailed carving (Back to front) . One shows a horse, the other a floral scene. The carving is detailed and not run of the mill. There is a 4 character mark to the bottom, that corresponds to Quinlong marks in Zhuanshu script ( 1736 to 1795) .Please see research link given in one image. ( you may verify it on gotheborg dot com and Christies reign marks on Chinese ceramics , which show the 4 characters are part of the 4 or 6 characters used in the period ) HOWEVER I am not sure if these are a later make i.e copy from the early 70's, as have not been evaluated by an expert ! Hence priced accordingly as a collectors item for unique snuff bottles and not rated Vintage not antiques. PLEASE NOTE - The bottle caps are stuck to them, and have a bubble pattern, ornamental items only as do not open. One bottle cap is detached but shows a vintage cork blocking the bottle opening. I could not find any conclusive marks to suggest it is resin or a cast. The colour is still vibrant - small aberrations expected as per age of the item, have some scruff marks on bottom. Pictured in natural sun light. All questions Welcome :-) Size - in image, Approx height of both is 7.5 cms. Comes in a sturdy packed Box (Please note the Box is New and NOT Vintage ). Will be packed securely and sent.Shipped worldwide.
