VARIEGATED STRING OF HEARTS

• Beautifully thin and delicate strings with green, purple and pink heart shaped leaves and white colouration.
• Pink variegation can vary depending on cutting. Bright sunlight will increase variegation and colour. 
• Cutting length varies depending on order. All come with multiple leaf parings. 
• Leaves size usually reduces as vine extends since these are the less mature / newer leaves

As a fellow Plant Parent I recommend buying multiple. Here are the benefits:

• Ensures a bushier / fuller and more appealing String of Hearts when mature. With less cuttings it can will look sparse and leggy.
• Reduces chance of root rot since there are several cuttings absorbing from the same soil.
• More cuttings for the same postage price.

✂️The parent plant, as shown in the photos, require regular trimming due to their quick year-round growth. They flourish year-round with the right care and do well in hanging baskets!

PLANT CARE REQUIREMENTS

☀️Light: All prefer bright, indirect light. Some tolerate low light but growth will slow and variegations / colour may deteriorate. Avoid strong & prolonged direct sunlight. Grow lights are recommended during colder / darker months.

💦Watering (Soil based): Water when the soil is roughly 60% dry. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot. Use a well-draining potting mix.

💦Watering (hydroponic): Change water every 1 - 2 weeks, keep quarter of water for rooting hormone. Add house plant fertilizer following the instructions on the product to supply the nutrients missing from the lack of soil.

HOW TO PROPAGATE (BASICS)

1. Arrival: Check your cuttings and place them in water, ensuring the node/root is submerged.

2. Light: Avoid direct sunlight but ensure they receive bright, indirect light. Keep them in warm, humid conditions (40-70% humidity is ideal). Most homes average this.

3. Watering: Change the water weekly, but leave a quarter of the old water to retain the rooting hormone.

4. Planting: Once roots are at least 1 inch long, you can plant them in well draining soil or keep them in water as hydroponic plants. Add house plant fertilizer following the instructions on the product to supply the nutrients missing from the lack of soil.

5. Growth Support: Consider grow lights for strong year-round growth.

• All plants are treated for pests and disease, but please inspect upon arrival. Quarantine new cuttings before adding them to existing plants.

• I cannot guarantee successful propagation and cannot take responsibility for the propagation process. However, I'm happy to offer advice if needed.
