Approaching its 120th year, this copy is in unusually good condition. The hinges are unbroken, although the rear interior hinge and last signature are just starting to give. The covers are bright where they have been protected by other books sharing the shelf, while the edges and spine have faded. The extremities have been bumped and relatively light fraying. The textblock has toned (yellowed) but free of known marks. There is a small corner nip affecting the first 16 pages.
