EXODUS 29:4-32.2
--------------------
Exodus 29:4-32.2 describes the consecration of Aaron and his sons as priests, including:
Washing and dressing Aaron
Aaron and his sons are washed at the entrance to the tent of meeting, and Aaron is dressed in a tunic, robe, ephod, and breastpiece. A turban is placed on his head, and the sacred emblem is attached. Aaron is anointed with anointing oil poured on his head.
Sacrificing a ram
A ram is killed, and its blood is placed on Aaron and his sons' right ears, thumbs, and big toes. The blood is also sprinkled on the altar.
Offering a wave offering
A loaf of bread, a cake made with oil, and a wafer are placed in the hands of Aaron and his sons, who wave them before the Lord. The items are then burned on the altar as a burnt offering.
Offering a ram for Aaron's ordination
The fat, tail, entrails, liver, kidneys, and right thigh of the ram are removed.
Offering a burnt offering
Two lambs are to be offered daily, one in the morning and one at twilight. Each lamb is offered with a grain offering and a drink offering.
Consecrating the altar
The altar is to be purified and anointed over the course of seven days.
