From the second half of the XIX century. photography continued the long tradition of graphic images of Lviv. Thanks to conscientious photographic recording of urbanization processes, today we have the opportunity to observe the life of the city during the last 150 years. In addition, photography provides an excellent opportunity to see objects known from literature that no longer exist, the appearance of which has been changed or destroyed by inexorable time.
