bgm PRO fan wheel developed and manufactured entirely in Germany. This is a one-piece fan wheel without rivets and screws. 21st century technology with an almost original look and design. The fan wheel has been successfully tested up to 24,000 rpm and provides the highest alternator output with the bgm V3 ignition base plate.

    • The fan wheel is a completely new design based on the existing bgm ignition components. The goals were maximum reliability and strong alternator output.

    To ensure maximum reliability, the cone is neither screwed nor riveted, but is cast in. Each cone is checked and reworked after casting to ensure a perfect fit to the crankshaft.

    Although we specify the weight of the fan wheel, this is secondary when it comes to the motor running. The moment of inertia achieved is the decisive value here. In other words, how and where the weight is distributed over the circumference of the circle.

    The balance factor is the next interesting factor. Here, we achieve a value that is also used in real motorsport. Each fan wheel is individually adjusted to at least this value. This is the best value ever achieved for a Lambretta fan wheel.

    The fan passed the burst test up to 24,000 rpm without any damage. Of course, the bgm PRO pole wheel can also be used with all components based on the original Ducati design with 6 coils. (Such as Indian, AF, AFR, Vespa components.) However, should problems arise here, depending on the combination of components, the height of the pickup may have to be adjusted.
