Description
LED headlights with E9 marking (road approval) and bright high/low beam. An additional feature is a separately switchable position light. With a diameter of 143 mm, it fits perfectly into the steering head of the PX and Cosa models as well as the headlights of Vespa Sprint, GTR and Rally, for example (see pictures, lamp trim not included).LED ADVANTAGE
The limit with conventional Bilux incandescent lamps for most scooters is a 45/45 W headlight bulb. The ignitions, which usually produce 80 W to a maximum of 120 W, do not provide more. The luminosity, measured in lumens, is less than 400, and
the LED headlamp has a brightness of over three times as high (1300 lumens). The power consumption is only 20 W. This corresponds to the light output of a conventional 100 watt headlamp.
This allows significantly better illumination to be achieved with a given alternator/power supply. There is also more capacity for other consumers.

NOTE
The LED headlight only works with DC, so it requires a battery or another equivalent power source with 12V DC. Operation on an AC power source results in immediate failure.
The headlight does not have any vehicle-specific holders. We offer this separately for the Vespa PX models (see accessories).
The body (made of black painted aluminum) has rear-facing threads: M4 (4x symmetrically distributed over the entire diameter)
