This chef's knife (210mm) is made of stainless steel and is made of rust-resistant, sharp V10 steel.
The V10 Special is made of carefully selected, highly pure raw materials, and contains high carbon, chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, and cobalt. The carbide that is the lifeblood of sharpness is made spherical and fine by heat treatment technology with the latest equipment, improving toughness and abrasion resistance, and achieving an even longer cutting life. It is a hygienic, ideal knife with a brim.
In addition, soft low-carbon stainless steel is used on both sides, so it can be sharpened at home.

The brim between the handle and the blade makes it hygienic as it prevents food juices from getting in. In addition, the handle is designed to be less susceptible to damage because it does not allow moisture to get in, allowing you to use it for a long time.

■About Takamura Cutlery Factory
The company was established after the war by the founder, Isamu, with the motto of "good materials, good forging and heat treatment, good sharpening".
The history of Takamura Cutlery began there. At the time, the main products were vegetable knives and agricultural knives, but as times changed, the production of household knives and professional knives became mainstream.

It was more than 50 years ago that we started developing stainless steel knives, which were still rare at the time.
