This rare and collectible book, "Earthly Footsteps of the Man of Galilee", features 400 full-page, historic photos ‘and descriptions of the places connected with the earthly life of our lord and his apostles’. It shows ‘where Christ was born brought up, baptized, tempted, transfigured and crucified, together with the scenes of his prayers, tears, miracles and sermons, and also places made sacred by the labors of his apostles, from Jerusalem to Rome’.

It was written by John H Vincent and James W Lee and has an extensive amount of photos documenting what the areas looked like in the 1800s. See photos for the content list.

The cover art of this book is rare. See photos for conditions. The pages are in great condition considering its antique age and the wear of the cover. A few pages have small rips that do not affect the content. The first few pages are separated from the book, thankfully as a unit and not individual sheets. The front and back covers are hanging on by some binding threads the spine cover material is gone. The cover has wear and discoloration. See photos for conditions.
