This Stanley No. 246 Cast Iron Mitre Box frame no. 2 and Back saw are vintage original items from 1917-42 , made in the United States, between the wars. It comes with a 26” by 4”Diston back saw, that is made for use with Stanley back saws. The brand is well-known for its high-quality products, and this mitre box is no exception.

It is a great addition to any collection of tools, hardware, and locks, and is sure to be a valuable asset for anyone who is into carpentry and woodworking. The item has not been modified, and is in its original form.

The mitre box and back saw were made for each other. The Diston back saw, has lettering on the blade. It says made for Stanley Level and plane.

The mitre box and saw are in incredible condition for being over 50 years old. This saw and mitre box are sold as is with no refunds, unless miss represented in pictures or description.
