METALCASTi s a durable enamel finish that is Oil, Gas, and Heat Resistant up to 500°F intermittently, making it ideal for Interior and Exterior, and High Heat applications under the hood.

Specially formulated to work over Properly Prepared Shiny, Bare Metal and Faux, Chrome-like surfaces.

Company History

Frost Ltd was founded in 1905 in Rochdale, Lancashire, as a general engineering company and quickly became specialists in sheet metal working machinery. After Mr Frost passed away in 1948, the company was bought by the Wood family and moved to its Crawford Street location.

During the 1980s, the company frequently advised customers on where to source specialist restoration equipment. With the continued manufacture of the English Wheel and Mike Wood’s contacts within classic car racing, Mike decided to put his restoration knowledge into a small sales booklet — and Frost Restoration was born.

Delivery & Dispatch

UK Deliveries:

  • Most items are held in stock. Orders placed Monday–Friday before 12:00pm are dispatched the same working day.

  • Delivery usually takes 2–3 working days (Saturday is not counted as a working day).

  • Some items are supplied directly by our manufacturers and may take 4–6 working days. Please check the estimated delivery date in the listing.

  • Most items in our eBay store include FREE Economy UK Mainland Delivery, sent via the most cost-effective method (1st or 2nd class post).

Please note: Royal Mail advises that 1st and 2nd class post can take up to 14 working days. Please allow this time before raising a claim.

Liquids & Pressurised Goods

Unfortunately, our carriers restrict the shipment of liquids and pressurised containers outside mainland UK. While we aim to prevent checkout for non-mainland addresses, this may occasionally occur. If so, we will contact you as soon as possible, as we cannot fulfil these orders.

Returns & Exchange

Goods that prove unsuitable may be returned for refund, credit, or exchange within 7 days of receipt, subject to the following conditions:

  • Items must be returned carriage paid

  • Goods must be unused and resalable

  • Items must be returned complete with original packaging

  • Damaged or defaced packaging may incur a charge

  • Returns after 7 days may be subject to a minimum 10% restocking fee

  • Specially ordered or custom-made items cannot be returned

  • Returns must include name, address, order reference, and reason for return

A Returns Authorisation Number must be obtained before returning any goods.

Frost is not responsible for any labour costs incurred during the fitting or removal of parts.

Shortages & Damage

Please notify us of any shortages or carrier damage within 5 days of receipt. Claims made after this period may not be processed.
