This a vintage Thailand brass flatware set. I am not positive it is brass-some describe as bronze. It has 85 pieces- which include spoons and forks-no knives. They are in special flatware boxes made of wood. The set was probably manufactured in the 1970’s because my brother bought the set while on leave in Thailand in 1969-70. I know the set has been in storage all this time which is probably when the knives went missing. The handles have a beautifuI Thai design that includes elephant heads.
