A rare guitar this semi acoustic with the Les Paul influence is the Wilson SAF model.

Pickups are Schaller whilst the bridge is a Japanese.

Wilson was a brand name used by Watkins Electric Music (WEM ) from the late 1960s to early 1980s for guitars and basses. Wilson (and Watkins) guitars were made in Caxton House in Chertsey, Surrey, UK, until around 1982. Charlie Watkins was the amp expert, while brothers Sid and Reg made the guitars in the Watkins factory in Chertsey. In 1969 they decided to market the product lines under separate brand names, the guitars were made under the Wilson brand name, Wilson being their mother’s maiden name.
