This is a vintage Castle Beverages Quality Fruit Flavors Wooden Soda Crate. C.B.W. Ansonia, CT. Castle Beverages was a family owned business that began in 1906. They would deliver to a 25 mile radius and in 1940 they used the old wooden crates to deliver their 7oz sodas. As seen in the Photographs, there is wear present as these crates were used for daily deliveries. This is a beautiful piece of Connecticut history, perfect for any collection.
