This is a single skein of Pierrot "Ami" cotton yarn, produced by Gosyo, Japan. This is a bulky 4-strand braided craft yarn (think of the simplest kinds of kumihimo braid, or the kinds of braids kids do with colored plastic laces)...the yarn is actually square. There is almost nothing (in English) to be found about this yarn, but it would be fabulous for extra heavy cotton hot pads, coasters, or dish cloths. Patterns may be found on the 'net for items such as small purses in this yarn.
