Really cute item that I am guessing is from the middle of the last century. It works fine...she jumps rope when you turn the little handle on the right. I don't know if that is a break on her one arm or if it was cut like that and just assembled that way so that the wire would go through and attach there. Obviously, with the wire going through there is no risk of that coming off. The toy is really charmingly quaint and cute because it's so deliciously primitive! This measures approximately 8 inches in length and at the height of the raised jump rope it is about 8 1/2 or just under (measuring from the wire). Great Americana and it looks fantastic as decor!
