If DIY, please follow the below steps:
1.Before you do the install, go online and learn how to remove the airbag assembly.
2. Follow the airbag instructions to the letter. The wires that connect these lights to the steering wheel are very short and the air bag module interferes with the installation.
3. After the air bag is removed, the install is pretty straightforward.
If you have some trouble getting one of the connectors to click, just check and make sure the pins on the light are not bent (or bent slightly), correct it and it goes in like it should.
4. Do not require any special tools, but you really should watch someone else do an install before you try this. Note: you can use a clamp and compress the sponge rubber on the steering wheel near one of the light assemblies, which gives a bit of extra space needed.
