VINTAGE 1940s ICE CREAM SIGN
Vintage lithograph diecut paper ice cream sign measuring approximately 14-1/2" tall. Featuring a yummy glass filled with fruit and ice cream, it is unmarked, but probably designed to advertise a STRAWBERRY SUNDAE - these were made by ESMOND GUNDLACH & CO., CIN'TI, O ~ LITHO. IN U.S.A. Designed to hang behind an ice cream parlor counter, colors are vibrant and graphics are crisp.
Condition is minty with no damage - sign has never been used or displayed - this is new old stock purchased from a defunct ice cream parlor in San Francisco, California. Simple, bold graphics are striking - think it would be a fun addition to any sign collection or display!
