Kufudigital pool skimmer vacuum plate is compatible with Hayward swimming pool separators sp1082, 1084, 1085, and 1075. Package includes 1*SP1106 skimmer vacuum plate Its bottom includes a rubber gasket Pool skimmer vacuum attachment measures 7-29/32 inches in diameter. Vacuum plate fits over the skimmer basket and attaches to the 1-1/2" pool vacuum hose. This allows large debris to be trapped in the skimmer basket instead of the pump strainer basket. The skimmer basket can be used to collect debris without having to turn the pump on and off. Installation Notes: Place vacuum cleaner head on vacuum hose and prepare for vacuuming as usual. With pump andfilter system operating, fill vacuum hose with water. Keeping water in hose, place hose end over SKIM-VAC hose connection. Insert SKIM-VAC into skimmer and firmly place over basket.Hold SKIM-VAC in place until all air is evacuated from vacuum hose.Once the air is removed, the pump suction will hold the SKIM-VAC firmly in place. To remove SKIM-VAC, merely grasp the hose connection (near the plate) and give a sideward twist or briefly lift vacuum head from pool. This will "break" the suction and allow easy removal. Note - Take care not to damage or scuff-up SKIM-VAC's specially designed sealing surface.For best results, store the SKIM-VAC in a safe place when not in use.
