1915M Half Sovereign STG. NGEM 125.6KM. The is lowest mintage of George V 1911-1918 Series and only Melbourne Minted of the Series. There are 98MS/4lwr sighted by PCGS representing .001% of mintage. Compare the rare 1918P half sovereign where PCGS witnessed 76 because bulk of mintage (220K+) met war debt - again a difficult year where 1918P reverses were mostly weak strikes. Highest PCGS 1918P is MS64+. These 1915M similarities conclusively vouch this mintage is seriously underrated particularly at this grade - BEING EQUAL TOP of POP. Note excellent reverse which is a rare occurrence for this Date. The 3 exhibited coins by PCGS, have poorly struck reverses.
