GENUINE DYSON DC43H, DC44 ANIMAL TYPE B HANDHELD MAIN BODY WHICH CONTAINS THE MOTOR. PLEASE NOTE THIS MAIN BODY WILL ONLY FIT THE ABOVE MODELS AND HAS TO BE FITTED TO A TYPE B BATTERY. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TYPE B MAIN BODY WHICH WILL ONLY FIT A DC44 ANIMAL TYPE B BATTERY (YOU CANNOT USE THIS MAIN BODY ON NORMAL DC44 ANIMAL BATTERY. IT HAS TO BE A TYPE B BATTERY). 'TYPE B' SIMPLY MEANS INSTEAD OF A BUTTON TO RELEASE THE BATTERY FROM THE MAIN BODY, TYPE B BATTERIES HAVE A SCREW WHICH NEEDS TO BE UNSCREWED TO DETACH FROM THE MAIN BODY. PLEASE LOOK AT THE FIRST PICTURE OF THE MAIN BODY ABOVE AND YOU WILL SEE THE BUTTON TO RELEASE THE BATTERY IS NOT THERE; IT HAS BEEN REPLACED BY A SCREW BECAUSE IT WILL KEEP THE BATTERY MORE SECURE WITH THE MAIN BODY, WHICH WILL NOT CAUSE FAULTS. TYPE B IS A NEWER VERSION. IF YOU HAVE THE OLDER VERSION WITH A BUTTON RELEASE TO RELEASE THE BATTERY FROM THE MAIN BODY THEN PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THIS PART. PLEASE NOTE FOR THE DC43H YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE THE CYCLONE ASSEMBLY FOR THE DC44 MODEL WITH THIS MAIN BODY IN ORDER FOR THIS MAIN BODY TO FIT.
