What Is It Used For? The Phonak drying capsule is the ultimate dehumidifier which comes with a Phonak Air tight container . Moisture is a common problem with hearing aids as it can damage the internal electrical components. These drying capsules are made with a unique formula to draw out the optimum levels of moisture, prolonging the life span of your hearing aid. Please note the box is only available upon request.
How To Use Place a drying capsule in the provided Phonak air tight container, then make sure the hearing aids are switched off and place them inside the Phonak container. (Please ensure the battery is removed from the hearing aid and that the battery draw is open). Seal the Phonak container and let the capsules work their magic. For best results do this overnight. The capsule can be reused until the colour of the capsules changes from yellow to pale. NOTE: KEEP THE CONTAINER SEALED EVEN WHEN NOT IN USE, as this will prolong the capsules life.
