This is an original press photo. Earl Yeargan (left), international organizer for the Hotel, Motel and Restaurant and Bartenders Local 166, AFL-CIO, shown with A. P. "Pat" Stoddard, president of the Greater New Orleans AFL-CIO, announced a 60-to-1 vote of the union Friday night in favor of striking the Roosevelt Hotel for a $2 a day wage increase on a five-day week.
