This is an original press photo. (l) House of Wax (1953) was the first movie produced by a major studio in #-D. (r.) In William Castle's 1961 thriller, Homicidal, audience members too frightened by the movie were ushered to the "Coward's Corner." These films are among the many that will be featured as part of "Ballyhoo: The Hollywood Sideshow," an original production on offbeat Hollywood promotions, premiering August 13 at 10:00 PM ET On American Movie Classics.
