Hardcover book with unclipped dust jacket, undated, circa 1940. Dust jacket has some light foxing to front and back, some light chipping along the top edge and a small tear near the bottom front corner, see photo. Spine is discoloured with age tanning. Blue cloth covered boards in very good condition, gold lettering to spine also in very good condition. Previous owners name sticker inside front cover. Text block has foxing along top edge, see photo. Text block is otherwise very clean and in very good condition. Pages are mostly free from foxing with very occasional spot along top edge of one to 2 mm. All pages attached, with sound hinges, and otherwise clean and free from smudging or marking. Overall condition of book is very good.
