Product Description
The Coaxial Digital audio signals and Optical Toslink Digital audio signals are two variations of the same S/PDIF standard. The hassle comes when you have some equipment that uses Digital Coaxial and other equipment with a Toslink connection. In this case, you need to adapt one signal type to the other type.
You can plug your Digital Audio Coax in and get Toslink Digital Optical Out. This can transform a digital RCA Coaxial (S/PDIF) audio signal to a Digital Toslink Optical signal. Come with a power adapter and the dust cap on the optical TOSLink end(Must be removed before use, pull it out).
This coaxial-to-optical converter will allow you to connect the coaxial digital audio output from your TV, DVD/Blu-ray player, HD Cable Box cable, or STB receiver to a Toslink digital optical input. It is all plug-and-play. Used 24-bit audio DSP, 96KHz digital receivers, 24bit ADC, support all S/PDIF digital audio transmission for uncompressed PCM, LPCM, Dolby AC-3, Dolby 5.1 Dolby Digital, and DTS sound.
The compact size of this unit lets you place it almost anywhere. Installation of this device is simplified to the maximum. Plug the power supply, connect the optical Toslink (Coax) cable between the optical (Coax) audio source/the end receiving devices, and the setup is done.
PLEASE NOTE: This adapter will NOT convert ANALOG AUDIO. This device does not convert digital TosLink to RCA.
