This AKARI set is designed by Isamu Noguchi and handcrafted in Japan by Ozeki. It includes a handmade washi paper shade and metal frame.

AKARI is part of Noguchi's renowned "Light Sculpture" series, created to produce a soft, warm, and organic glow that enhances any interior space.

Each piece is handcrafted in Gifu, Japan using traditional bamboo rib construction and Mino washi paper, combining timeless design with Japanese craftsmanship.

Installation:

Insert the ceiling cord through the side opening of the frame’s central ring.
Secure the frame in place by fixing the cord above and below it using a stopper or similar fixture.

Important Notes:

  • This product includes the shade and frame only (no electrical components).
  • Cord, socket, light bulb, ceiling flange, and stopper are not included.
