know and have read about a lot of RV Dealers are selling used Reignitor for way over $150, cause customers have no way to light or use their refrigerator
ON LP gas without having this part, lot think they must have the WHITE OEM one to work, not true.

The New unit we ship will be Green in Color, since the White "679" is no longer available, a warranty card from the manufacturer will be with the unit. Fill out the warranty card mail in for the 3 year warranty.
It mounts, wires connects the 12 DC and ground regardless of the Dometic refrigerator model or year. If your unit has a cover over the 679, it may not fit or not be used for this New designed unit.

The Reignitor is an electronic device that produces high voltage to create a spark to ignite a flame at the burner when refrigerator operates on LP gas. Verify proper DC power is at the positive (+) and ground (-) terminals. The reading should be within one volt of the voltage at the main terminal block during the trial-for-ignition. The Reignitor installed on the refrigerators as original equipment is part number 2931132019 (RV Gas Model 679). . This Reignitor Module were used on many models. Just so you will know this unit is a little wider so if by chance your model Dometic used the older style with cover your cover will not fit and not needed now.
