Wood trinket box hand carved by chip artist Walter C. Grittner of St. Paul, Minnesota. He used precise mathematical dimensions and designs along with sharp implements to chip away at the wood until the design is complete. Mr. Grittner’s work has been displayed in many countries and all 50 states. He passed away in 2022 at the age of 103 years.

Closure is by gravity. There are 2 hinges in good condition. No wiggling. Item is clean and ready for display.
