It's taking me several years as to figuring what this 3" x 4-3/4" Tall Embroidered Patch is all about. Sno-Jet Snowmobiles in the mid 1970s had an advertising slogan "WATCH OUT FOR BIG BLUE" with a Canadian Lumberjack. Not the greatest and never recommended to make an advertising piece that not only does NOT mention the the brand name, the product itself (snowmobiles) appears to be a far distant afterthought. Apparently, The Big Blue Lumberjack just got off his Big Blue Sno-Jet and entered Joe's Place Beer Pub. I guess we all better watch out for BIG BLUE!
The Sno-Jets were made in Canada starting in 1965 by 1970 they were one of the most popular brands out there. Overwhelmed by the success and the demand the owners sold out to Glastron Boats in 1968. Then in 1976 Kawasaki purchased the company from Glastron in what could only be labeled as "we have too much money -lets buy something." By the following year, 1977, Kawasaki using the Sno-Jet name and in 1982, discontinued the line in its entirety. You are bidding on a Excellent New Old Stock 1970s Sno-Jet Patch. Although rather an obscure piece of Vintage Snowmobile Memorabilia, it still retains value as a scarce winter sports transportation collectible. There is no adhesive on the backside, it must be sewn onto clothing. Winning Buyer to include $4.75 for First Class Shipping.
