Speed - The SuperSpeed team has been working with the
concept of overspeed training for many years with their private
clients and have found that using lighter weight bats in specific
training regimens would help every player increase swing speed,
maximize bio-mechanical efficiency, improve consistency in ball
striking, and reduce many common swing flaws caused by inefficient
sequencing of the Baseball swing.
• The Science - behind the
super speed training system is multifaceted. First of all, stiffer
shafts force you to swing more aggressively to fully load the bat,
naturally resulting in more speed. Secondly, the weight sequencing
protocols are very specific also helping you to increase speed by
improving your rotational speed and promoting consistently solid and
stable balance. Determining the optimal weighting breakdown of the
SuperSpeed bat is the key and designing effective training protocols
maximize players' progress.
• The Set - includes three training bats the first of
which is about 20% lighter (Green) than your bat, the second is
about 10% lighter (Blue) and the third about 5% heavier (Red). All
varieties of the protocol will require that you always swing all
three of the bats in a light to heavy progression.
• Three Training Sessions - per week for about 10
minutes each for optimal results. So, with just 30 minutes of work
per week you'll see outstanding results! Players typically gain
between 5% and 8% additional swing speed over the first 4 to 6 weeks
of regular practice.
