Edward Willis Redfield was an American Impressionist painter. 

Noted for his landscapes of his native Pennsylvania. Best known today 
for his impressionist scenes of the New Hope area, often depicting the
snow-covered countryside. 

Leader of group of Pennsylvanian landscape artists, including Daniel Garber,
Walter Schofeld and Robert Spencer. 



Born: 1869, Bridgeville, Delaware; died: 1965, Center Bridge, Pennsylvania.
