Listing Update...This is not so much an update as it is a brief comment about the computers and related parts I have available for sale. Personal computers (and in particular desktop computers) have always been a hobby of mine. I've enjoyed tinkering with this stuff over the years and have accumulated a number of items during this time...some new and some used. I am not an expert on the subject...more of an enthusiast...but I will still do my best to answer any questions as it relates to my computer related listings. Thank you. Original Listing... It's probably also worth noting that Antec makes two different types of case fans, "P" series and "F" series. Their "F" series fans are designed primarily to generate steady airflow in an environment with little resistance. So these fans are ideal for use in well ventilated cases where airflow is easily created/redirected. On the other hand "P" series fans are designed to generate high static pressure, which makes them ideal for use with air (tower) coolers, radiators, dust filters, etc. In other words, anytime you need a fan to push/pull air through an area with some resistance, then a "P" series fan is preferable. This is not to say you cannot use a "P" series fan as a general case fan (in a case) that is well designed to promote good airflow, but its probably not necessary (as "P" series fans tend to be a little more expensive). Just to be clear, this offering is for a value pack of "F" series fans. I also want to highlight connectivity, as best viewed in the last picture uploaded above. These fans have the traditional 3-pin connector that will plug into any 3/4-pin motherboard fan header. So if you want to group some of these fans together and connect them to a single motherboard fan header, then you will need to acquire some case fan splitter cables. These cables are not included with this value pack, but they are relatively inexpensive to purchase from a number of other vendors. As is the case with many of my computer related purchases, I accumulated a number of fans over the last few years for new computer builds. Although, the bicycle parts business has me overwhelmed at the moment and I just don't have much time to build new computers. So I thought I would make some of these case fans available to someone else that may need them before I would get around to using them. Having said all of the above, I thought it might also be helpful if I shared a spec. sheet of sorts that highlights some of the primary fan features:
In terms of condition, this is a new value pack of four (4) fans that will be shipped in its original retail packaging with all the mounting hardware (standard fan case screws). The packaging is nothing special, but it looks good and actually I doubt any of the remaining fans have been taken out of this packaging (so they really are factory new). I also want to confirm that I will pack these value packs of fans in shipping boxes (so a box within a box) to ensure safe transit. Listing Update...Just to be clear, this is a value pack of four (4) new fans. I know the packaging say there were originally five (5) fans in this box, and there were at one time. Although, I must've used one at some point and all I have left on the shelf are these four (4) fans, just as pictured. So again, this offering for a value pack of four (4) new fans and the price has been adjusted accordingly. You may visit our store by clicking on this "Store Home Page" link.
