ITEM DETAILS: This is a rare set of eight genuine UK promotional front-of-house stills from the 1961 release of The Devil at 4 O'clock starring Frank Sinatra. They come from an eclectic collection of promotional material amassed by a long time cinema employee, and having researched and examined them carefully I have no doubts as to their authenticity, but please rest assured that if you have any concerns I offer a no quibble, all costs refunded return policy and would never deliberately sell anything I suspected to be bogus. This set has been stored correctly away from light and moisture in an acid free sleeve for many years, but the collector was a smoker and although the residual smoky smell has faded greatly in the time I've owned them, there's still a slight lingering cigarette aroma that's not intrusive and I'm sure will dissipate eventually. Some of the set have minor superficial damage on the rear corners and edges where they've been stuck into a frame using what I presume was blu-tack or tape and one has what looks like masking tape on the back from where it was apparently taped into a frame. Also there are a couple of visibly pinholed corners, numerous signs of age and handling, the odd damaged corner, finger marks on the back and some age yellowing etc, but these are all fairly minor from an appearance point of view and there are no stains, fading or other unpleasant issues. Also the colours are still vibrant, they still display extremely well and everything is exactly as you see it in the scans.
