Strasburg Railroad 18" Heavyweight "Pequea Valley" (Red)

Part of the early history of the Strasburg, "Pequea Valley" started life in Pullman's pool fleet before being rebuilt for the New York Central. The car was purchased by several of the Strasburg's owners. Unlike most of the railroad's equipment, Pequea Valley did make a few trips offline and has been photographed as far away as Denver, Colorado. Pequea Valley was sold in 1984, but wore at least four paint schemes during its time on the Road to Paradise.
