ANTIQUE SPICE TIN
Wonderful antique A&P SULTANA SPICE MILLS Mustard advertising tin measuring 4-1/8" tall and 2" wide. Lithograph decorated with the iconic Grandmother logo graphics, it is printed in a wonderful mustard color with japanned base and japanning on the original cap lid.
Condition is good with no dents, holes, rust or cracking - there is overall light scratching, especially to Granny's face - the lid edge is trimmed with paper advertising stating "NO HOME COMFORTS WITHOUT THE A&P BAKING POWDER, A&P SPICES - the coffee part of the label chipped off when I removed the lid to check the interior, but I will include it. Lids have darkening/patination to the lid - interior is clean with trace mustard.
Just a wonderful antique spice tin - iconic look and larger than the regular 3-1/4" size - nice addition to any country store, kitchen or collection!
