Even if you have the OEM LED headlights on your Nissan Titan truck, the new XB LED From Morimoto is a huge upgrade. The stock single projector optics lacks any real performance when it comes to illuminating the road at night, and the standard halogen turn signal is just plain boring. With the new Morimoto XB LED Titan headlights, you get all of the most modern features that make headlights so attractive today. The Titan XB's are packed with quad Bi-LED projectors, a full LED daytime running light, and an awesome sequential LED turn signal.
DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT:
The design of the DRL on the Morimoto XB LED heads for the Titan is almost identical to the brand new high-end OEM LED headlights from Nissan - which is fitting to the overall design of these trucks. The LED daytime running light is powered by Osram 5000K LEDs and is insanely bright, easily visible during the day! The DRL will also dim down when the parking lights or low beams are on for compliance reasons. When the DRL activates, each of the four projectors illuminate in a unique dual-intensity start-up sequence which looks killer!
PLUG AND PLAY:
As for wiring: Morimoto's LED headlights are designed to work on your Titan without any modifications. No error codes! no flickering. No hyper-flashing! no nonsense.
MORE LIGHT OUTPUT:
The original Tacoma XB's used 2 projectors for low beam, and one dedicated high beam. The new setup utilizes all three projectors for the low beam, and has a dual Bi-LED setup. The results? 33% more light output for low beam mode, 100% more output in high beam mode, and a better distribution of light with more foreground (on the ground directly in front of the truck) for improved visibility while cornering. SEQUENTIAL TURN SIGNAL:
The trademark sequential turn signal that we've grown to love on so many of the other models in the Morimoto lineup. If you're not a fan of the sequential effect, no problem. You can run the blinker in standard mode too. All wrapped upside a housing that's been delicately trimmed with a combination of matte and glosses finishes, these things would be a killer aesthetic upgrade for any truck! But the real beauty here is that it's not ALLLLL about looks. These things are quite functional too.
QUAD Bi-LED:
The Morimoto XB LED headlights for the 16 up Nissan Titan come standard with four high-output LED projectors per headlight. Yes, that's a total of 8x low beams and 4x high beams to illuminate the road ahead. Thanks to their uniquely shaped projector lenses paired with modern optics within, they're going to perform even better than they look. The full LED low and high beam are an instant upgrade over stock, with a wider, brighter low beam, and a high beam that will penetrate far into the distance with ease. To top it all off, these optics meet & exceed all SAE, DOT standards when aimed properly, which is easy to do with their integrated aiming adjusters.
DOT APPROVED:
Make no mistake, these will produce a much different [better] result than slapping some LED replacement bulbs into your stock housings. Their quad-projector optics meet & exceed all SAE, DOT, and FMVSS108 regulations when aimed properly...and that's easy to do with their integrated adjusters.
PERFORMANCE:
We've always been blown away by the fact that the other brands don't even consider how well their headlights perform on the road at night. Most often, they're a downgrade compared to even the standard halogen setup, and that's a shame. The good news is that Morimoto's XB LED headlights produce a well defined beam pattern with a great amount of width, intensity, and a proper distribution of light.
WELL-BUILT:
Their UV-coated polycarbonate lens will resist the test of time, ensuring your truck's new headlights will look good as new for many years to come. The PPS plastic housing is light-weight and much stronger than comparable alternatives. The die-cast aluminum heat-sinks inside the housings provide more than an adequate amount of cooling for the OEM grade Osram LED chips that produce the light. These complete headlights may be new to the market, but Morimoto's XB LED fog lights have proven themselves perfect after 5+ years out now, which is confidence inspiring.
