Advion Ant Gel by Syngenta is a professional-grade ant bait formulated to deliver effective and targeted control of a broad spectrum of ant species, including both sweet-feeding and protein-feeding ants. Utilising active ingredient indoxacarb, Advion Ant Gel works by attracting foraging ants, which consume the gel and carry it back to their colony, sharing it with other ants-including the queen-through a process known as trophallaxis. This results in comprehensive colony elimination within days of application.

The gel is translucent, odourless, non-staining, and designed for convenient application both indoors and outdoors, making it suitable for use in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. How to Use

  1. Apply small dots or thin lines of gel near ant trails, entry points, or where ants are seen.

  2. Check regularly and reapply if the gel is consumed or ant activity continues.

  3. Avoid spraying insecticides near the gel to ensure ants feed and carry it back to the colony.


Precautions

  • Food Safety: Do not place gel on surfaces where food is prepared, on food utensils, or food packaging materials
  • Temperature Restrictions: Avoid applying in areas exceeding 50°C (122°F), such as near stoves, ovens, grills, or hot water pipes, as this can cause the gel to liquefy
  • Children and Pet Safety: Do not treat areas easily accessible to children and pets
  • Application Limitations:
    • Avoid applying on surfaces that are regularly washed
    • Do not allow contact with livestock feed or water
    • Remove all unpackaged food and packaging before application
  • Spray Interactions:
    • Do not apply on surfaces recently treated with residual sprays
    • Surfaces treated with Advion Ant Gel should not be subsequently treated with residual sprays
  • Placement Guidelines:
    • Place gel near ant trails, nest sites, or active foraging areas
    • Minimize potential for human or animal contact
    • Inspect gel placements periodically and reapply as needed
