Hand Carved Wooden Mallard  Duck Trinket Stash Box Primitive Rustic Hinged-Top 

Dark brown wood grain matte finish;  Vintage hand carved container with wooden hinge on lidded top that opens from the front duck's beak. Round inserted wooded eyes.  Interior carved space: in the general shape of the exterior of the duck is approx. 1 inch deep by 4 inches long, interior shape follows exterior shape.  Bottom of duck has 3 felt furniture protection patches on it.   External dimension of the carved container: 10 1/2 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide, little over 1 inch tall.  No cracks or drying of wood noted; Hinged top sits loosely on the body and the hinge does not hold top partially open.  When fully opened mallard weight shifts to the front and the head touches the tabletop.
