This is a story about humanity, dreams, love and the light that shines in the darkness and the darkness does not swallow it…
The Second World War breaks into the lives of millions of people, shattering what seemed strong and combining the incongruous. French girl Marie-Laure and German boy Werner Pfennig met in the war-torn French town of Saint-Malo. They are both blind: she lost her sight as a child, and he was blinded by German propaganda. But it seems that fate itself led them to meet each other all their lives, so that they could see the invisible light that can defeat the eyeless darkness.
