3) Each assembly consists of two 2.75" (ID: 70mm) 304 Stainless Steel Male/Female flanges and one 304 Stainless Steel V-band clamp, providing a perfect overlap seam for welding.  
4) One of the advantages of using a V-Band clamp is that these retainers are perfect for applications requiring frequent removal. They provide a quicker disassembly yet provide a great seal with even pressure at the flange.
5) You can use a drop of anti-seize on the clamp's retaining nut. This helps extend the life of the clamp and protects the ability of the fastener.
6) Our flanges feature a male/female interlocking design that helps align the joint prior to clamping. This design also aids in forming an air-tight seal by forcing the air to try to work its way around three mating surfaces, rather than just one like on flat-faced flanges.
