Protect a compatible bicycle inner tube from direct contact with spoke holes and other internal rim surfaces with this ALTA 20" Black Rubber Rim Strip, featuring a 22mm width and flexible rubber construction.
The rim strip installs inside the bicycle rim between the rim and inner tube, creating a protective layer over the spoke-hole area. Its black rubber construction provides a traditional bicycle rim-strip design suitable for replacement, repair, and restoration applications.
This ALTA rim strip is designed for compatible 20-inch bicycle wheel applications.
The strip installs around the inside of the rim and helps create a protective barrier between the inner tube and the spoke-hole area.
The rim strip measures approximately 22mm wide.
Proper rim-strip width is important for covering the internal spoke holes and providing suitable protection for the inner tube.
Because bicycle rims can vary in internal width, please compare the 22mm width with your existing rim before purchasing.
The rim strip is made from flexible rubber, allowing it to conform to the circular shape of a compatible bicycle rim.
The stretchable construction provides the traditional fit and appearance commonly used on bicycle wheel rim strips.
The rim strip is positioned between the bicycle rim and inner tube.
Its purpose is to help keep the inner tube from resting directly against exposed spoke holes, spoke ends, or other internal rim surfaces that could potentially damage the tube.
The black rubber finish provides a simple, traditional appearance and remains hidden inside the rim once the tire and inner tube are installed.
It works well for:
Designed for compatible 20" bicycle rims requiring approximately a 22mm-wide rim strip.
Bicycle rim dimensions can vary even within the same nominal wheel size, so please compare the 20" application and 22mm width with your existing rim strip or rim before purchasing.
