How to determine the direction of rotation of the shaft of an NSH pump:

Usually the direction of rotation is labelled on the NC pump. To determine the direction of rotation yourself, place the pump shaft upwards with the inlet port (labelled "ENTRY") facing you. If the pump shaft is located to the left of the inlet port, the pump has right-hand rotation (clockwise if you look at the pump from the shaft side). If the pump shaft is to the right of the inlet port, the pump has a left-hand rotation (anti-clockwise when viewed from the shaft side of the pump).
