Replacement Gear Wheel for PTM-12KG Mechanism Compatible with Pioneer PL-570 and XL-A700 Turntables
I offer a nylon gear wheel, perfectly fitting the PTM-12KG mechanism in Pioneer PL-570 and Pioneer XL-A700 turntables. This high-quality replacement part will restore full functionality to your turntable.
Why replace the gear wheel after 50 years of use? Over time, the gear wheel in turntables that have been in use for decades can become worn down. With extended use, the teeth of the gear may wear out or crack, leading to unstable operation. This can affect the overall performance of the turntable and degrade sound quality. Replacing the gear wheel will restore smooth operation of the mechanism and improve the drive stability.
Specifications:
Compatibility: Pioneer PL-570, Pioneer XL-A700 turntables
Material: durable nylon
The listing includes: only the gear wheel (other elements in the picture are for reference purposes)
Installation Instructions:
Clean the spindle from the remnants of the old, damaged gear wheel.
The new gear wheel should be glued using high-quality cyanoacrylate glue. Press the gear wheel to the appropriate height so it can freely engage with the other parts of the mechanism.
Wait for the glue to set – typically about 12 hours.
Thoroughly clean the mechanism of old grease. Apply plastic-to-plastic lubricant.
Why replace? After 50 years of use, an old gear wheel can not only fail to work correctly, but it may also cause damage to other parts of the mechanism. Replacing it with a new one ensures long-term and trouble-free operation of the turntable, allowing you to continue enjoying high-quality sound.
