Description
Zara Ellwood, floral still life painting, lilies, watercolor and gouache on board, signed in the lower right, 33 by 25 inches in a 37 by 29 inch frame under glass, in apparently very good to excellent condition (the painting has not been examined outside the frame) in a very good lattice wood frame. Ellwood was a well known New York City artist known for her still life and animal paintings during the 1930s and 1940s, Following World War II, Bremers department store in Bremerton, Washington exhibited and sold her works.
