This top quality woven glass fibre stove rope can be used for sealing stove doors, flue joints and lids and doors on Rayburns. 

If you have noticed your stove is burning out of control or if you get the smell of smoke while your stove in burning then your rope seal is probably to blame,fire rope provides an air tight seal around your stove door keeping both smoke in and excess air out.

If your fire rope is not replaced when needed then your stoves efficiency can be drastically reduced and dangerous gasses are allowed to escape, it can also be used for sealing large gaps in flue joints i.e some flue collars on some stoves can be quite a bit larger than the flue pipe diameter. if this gap was to be sealed just with fire cement then this would crack and fall out over time causing leaks so the fire rope can be used to fill the majority of the gap then sealed over with fire cement.
