This auction is for the last release of the Northern Bank £20 Pound Banknote. This colour was produced very quickly to replace the previous one withdrawn due to the robbery. They have now been superseded by the new Danske release, having only appeared for a very short time for circulation in Northern Ireland. Has been taken out of circulation so the paper contains surface wrinkles & folds. It does not contain any creases. The paper is very firm, free from graffiti & pin holes. All the corners & edges are sharp and free from tears or nicks.

This date had a very short run as the Danske bank took over shortly after they were issued. I have found it extremely hard to find and am sure these notes will increase in value as serious collectors add this date to their collection. UNC notes are now virtually impossible to find. I did a search & world wide there was only one more of these notes available in the USA.
