This auction is for Northern Bank £100, One Hundred Pound Banknotes. The Northern bank (now called Danske bank) has ceased to issue £100 banknotes so these are getting hard to find now, especially in better grade's. Here is a chance to add ONE or MORE to your portfolio at a reasonable price.

I used to have quite a number of customers contact me to see if I was interested in purchasing their £100 note they just found, this is the first one I have been offered & bought in well over 2 years. I anticipate when these are sold it will be nearly impossible to replace them & definitely not at these prices.

H0098057. This note has been in circulation for some time which has resulted in the surface containing multiple wrinkles and folds. It also contains a number of vertical light creases. The paper is still on the firmer side & does not contain any graffiti. All the edges and corners are still good and do not contain any tears or nicks. H0109441 This note has been taken from circulation so the surface contains fine wrinkles and folds. There are two distinct vertical folds and one light horizontal folds but is free from heavy creasing. the paper is still firm, free from graffiti & holes. The edges & corners are good & free from nicks or tears. On the bottom edge near the centre there is a couple of marks see pictures.

H0172852, H0172868, H0172871, H0172894, H0172895. These notes have not been in circulation. I am grading as such because of counting marks to the right edge of all the notes, there is also some extremely light handling/wrinkle marks only visible by looking across the surface of the note. Other than these few marks the notes are in perfect condition.
NOTE 0172868 also has an extremely light fold horizontally part way across the centre. /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ (1978 Grade VF++ All notes in this grade have been sold).
(SOLD H0229295). This note has been in circulation for a short time. Most of the surface is showing fine wrinkles. There is a light vertical fold in the centre and also counting folds at each end. The both corners on the right contain a crease. The paper is very firm, with all corners sharp. The top edge is showing some wear but the rest are clean & sharp, it is also free from any marks holes of graffiti. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All 1980 grade VF sold at present H0253171. This note has been taken from circulation which has resulted in the paper containing wrinkles & folds. It is still firm, does not contain any heavy folds, graffiti or pin holes. All the corners and edges are sharp but NOTE to the bottom left edge it contains a tiny 1mm nick. 1st November 1990 Signature S. H. Torrens All Grade VF sold at present
(Sold E0099936) also has a graffiti mark to the left a small nick to the top also one on the bottom. It is still very firm with nice sharp corners.
(Sold E0118435) This one has been in circulation, therefore, it contains complete surface wrinkles & a number of fine folds but no heavy creases. The paper is very firm with sharp corners & edges, it is free from any graffiti nicks and tares.
(E0118436), This one is the best of this batch, has no heavy creasing & is free from any nicks or graffiti.

Serial numbers (Sold E0097665) E0097666, E0097667. These notes have never been in circulation but because of counting flicks/folds, left by a previous handler I am listing under this grade. Here is an opportunity to add one, or more of these very scarce notes to your collection. (SOLD E0185510) This note has been in circulation of a short period of time. The overall surface contains fine wrinkles and folds. It does not contain any creases. The paper is still firm, clean & free from graffiti. All the corners and edges are sharp and free from tears or nicks.
1999 About Extremely Fine EA177771. The note has had some handling which has resulted it having some light wrinkling & counting flicks/folds. it is still firm, free from graffiti, tears or nicks. This is an extremely scarce note to find now & to get a Radar serial number is a fantastic find. Add it to your collection & you will be the envy of your collecting friends.

2005 Replacement in VF condition YY000219.This note was in circulation for a time this has resulted in the complete surface having fine wrinkles and folds. Some of the wrinkles to the centre top are heavier. It does not contain any heavy creases. the paper is still firm, free from graffiti & pin holes. All the edges and corners are sharp & free from tears or nicks.
