Hatco C-54 Description

The Hatco C-54 compact booster heater ensures sanitizing water is at a proper temperature of 180 degrees Fahrenheit in warewashers. When water is flowing at 542 gallons per hour, the unit provides a 40-degree-Fahrenehit rise in water temperature. Its tank has a 6-gallon storage capacity and is cement lined for corrosion and limescale resistance.

This fiberglass-insulated unit keeps heat inside the tank, and the pilot light turns on when the unit is operating. By releasing water only when necessary, the temperature/pressure relief valve lowers the pressure in the tank. If the water level is too low, the low-water cut-off shuts off power to the heating element, preventing element burnout that could damage the system.
